As I am still in waiting for our leader to respond, I will take time to exhume the remainder of my inkwell; I fear I haven't posted nearly enough.

I must say, living amidst the elegance and refinement of French society was a privilege I once cherished. However, of late, I find myself increasingly repulsed by the foreign culture that surrounds me. It is not merely a matter of differences in customs or language, but rather a profound sense of moral indignation that gnaws at my soul.

Having fought alongside my compatriots in the American Revolution, I was filled with fervent hope as I crossed the Atlantic to join the ranks of the French revolutionaries. The ideals of liberty, equality, and fraternity echoed the sentiments for which we so valiantly struggled across the ocean. Yet, as the dust settles and the blood of the guillotine stains the streets of Paris, I am forced to confront a harsh reality: the revolution I once revered has devolved into a grotesque caricature of its noble aspirations.

What are we even fighting for? The ostentatious displays of wealth from the bourgeoisie that lead us? The abhorrent debauchery that masquerades as entertainment? This frivolity, this decadence that pervades every facet of French life... it has become unbearable to me. How can a society so enamored with superficiality and excess lay claim to any semblance of virtue or decency? I will continue my fight as Congress has demanded, but as I take quill to parchment, my heart weighs heavy with a burden I fear words alone cannot alleviate.

Good advice:

• Mafia is only as much as effort as you're willing to put in. You don't need to research every facet of the game to win. The list of roles and rules are much better as a reference than a study

• It's common practice to make a post during every day period stating the success/failure of your action, but you don't necessarily need to say what the exact results were, or the action you took. Choosing not to post will surely work against you.

• Being overly quiet is very suspicious! But talk too much, and you might make yourself a target.

Submit an action every night, pay attention to the results of others and their posts, and you'll have fun.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask the host.
